The Million Ideas Movement is a global initiative created by Jill Godden to help people turn ideas into action. It exists to encourage innovation, entrepreneurship and problem solving by giving anyone, anywhere in the world the opportunity to submit their ideas.
How do I join?
Purchase a copy of The Value of a Cupcake on Amazon, submit your Amazon order number and enter your first idea. Once approved, you become part of the movement and your first idea is automatically entered.
Why is The Value of a Cupcake required?
The book is the entry point into the movement. It shares the philosophy behind the project and helps fund the growth of the initiative. All proceeds from the book support the Million Ideas Movement.
How much does it cost?
The Kindle edition costs $2.99 and includes membership plus your first idea submission. Additional ideas can be submitted separately for $2.00 each.
Can I submit more than one idea?
Yes. Members can submit as many ideas as they like. Every additional idea receives its own entry and can be submitted independently through the platform.
What can participants win?
The movement aims to award $1,000,000 in cash and support to the winning idea, helping turn a promising concept into a real business or project.
Who can enter?
Anyone, anywhere in the world can participate. Founders, students, creators, entrepreneurs, professionals and first-time innovators are all welcome.
What kind of ideas can be submitted?
Business ideas, products, apps, services, social impact projects, community initiatives, technologies and creative concepts are all eligible provided they are original and submitted in good faith.
How are ideas judged?
Ideas are reviewed against criteria such as originality, potential impact, feasibility, scalability and overall potential to create meaningful value.
Do members receive voting rights?
Yes. Members receive voting rights within the movement and can help support and promote ideas submitted by other participants.
